José Martins (b. 1981)

José is an architect and urban researcher based in Guimarães, Portugal.

He enrolled in the De Architekten Cie- Architecture & Planning office, Research & Development (Amesterdam) where participated in different scales/ programs of Design projects.

In 2008 achieved the degree by Faculty of Architecture at the University of Oporto, and in 2010 conquered the Master degree in Architecture and Urban Culture at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya/ Centre Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona.

At the moment is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Oporto, and also the President of the regional section of the Portuguese Architectural Association.
